🪢 RECOMMENDED FABRIC The background is left unstitched, so the fabric colour is part of the design. The pale lavender-grey Aida in the photos is what this palette was built for - it holds both the cream cat and the dark violet cloak. Please do NOT use white, cream or ivory: the cat's whole body is stitched in DMC 746 Off White and would disappear into a pale fabric. Very dark grounds (black, navy, charcoal) are untested here - the cloak is DMC 333 and 550 Violet Very Dark outlined in 310 Black, and it would lose its edge.
