RECOMMENDED FABRIC White, cream or any light Aida - that is what most of the photos show, and there is no white or ecru floss in the palette, so every colour reads cleanly. The navy version is shown too and gives a deep-space look, but note that the planet's darkest shading (DMC 154 Grape Very Dark, 550 Violet Very Dark) sits close in value to a dark fabric, so the contrast is softer there.

Good to know
